Zachary Weiss

With a formal education in Mechanical Engineering, Zach has done anything but. In their undergrad years, Zach worked at Breakthrough Energy Ventures: prizing the birds-eye-view of the greentech space, but all the while, pining for hands-on problem-solving. Concurrent with their Master’s, concentrating in Systems, Dynamics, and Controls, Zach bootstrapped ReMo Energy as the first employee, wearing a myriad of hats (technoeconomic modeling, GIS, data science, process modeling, optimization), growing it alongside the CEO to 8+ people and $6+ MM in funding. Seeking deeply technical problems with big climate impact, Zach joined Glimpse, writing Nix for bulletproof edge reliability and security.
