José Rincón

Originally from Colombia, Jose earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Texas A&M University System and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. His graduate research focused on 3D medical image processing, developing algorithms for MRI-guided breast-conserving surgery. After six years applying deep learning to sustainable agriculture as a computer vision engineer, Jose was drawn to Glimpse by the opportunity to combine his imaging expertise with his commitment to climate technology. The CT imaging modality particularly resonated with him, bringing him back to his medical imaging roots while advancing battery safety for the EV transition. At Glimpse, Jose develops computer vision algorithms to extract and measure battery features from CT scans, and thrives on solving complex technical problems alongside such a talented team.
