Brian Loughran

Raised in the small town of Denville, New Jersey, Brian studied aerospace engineering at Lehigh University before starting his career at Pratt & Whitney. There he worked across structures, aerodynamics, and automation on commercial engine programs, contributing to tools that accelerated airfoil design, analysis, and quality workflows. Drawn more and more to software, he earned an M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins and joined Amazon, where he built HIPAA-compliant systems for internal fraud tooling and added multilingual communication capabilities for global Payments Risk teams. Motivated by a belief that the climate crisis is the defining challenge of his generation, he joined Glimpse to bring his engineering and software experience to climate tech. At Glimpse he works across the tech stack on the webapp, inspection architecture, cloud infrastructure, productionization efforts, and other odd tasks.
